DNR found new evidence of Ukraine’s involvement in the collapse of MH17

Investigative bodies of the proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) discovered new evidence confirming the launch of a missile from Buk system, which shot down a Boeing 777 passenger plane from Malaysian Airlines. This was reported on Thursday by the head of the investigation department of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the DPR Roman Belous.

“In view of the newly discovered circumstances in the investigation of the crash of an airliner under Torez, the republic’s prosecutor general’s office resumed the proceedings on this criminal case,” Belous said.

According to the agency, “the investigation has new data confirming the launch of the Buk missile from the vicinity of the village of Zaroshchinskoye in the Shakhty district, which was under the control of the Ukrainian army at the time of the crash.”

The passenger plane Boeing 777 of the company “Malaysian Airlines”, carrying out flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on July 17, 2014 in the east of the Donetsk region. All 298 passengers, two-thirds of whom were Dutch nationals, died.
