SAA regain control over strategic oil factory in S. Raqqa

The Wadi ‘Obeid Oil Factory which was under the ISIS’ control for three years was liberated by the Syrian Arab Army and their allies; it was one of many sites that was restored by the Syrian government.

The Syrian Arab Army liberated the strategic Wadi ‘Obeid Oil Factory several weeks ago, following its subsequent destruction by the U.S. Coalition forces in the southern countryside of the Al-Raqqa Governorate.

Since its liberation by the army, the Syrian government has worked to restore the Wadi ‘Obeid Oil Factory and fix the damage done by the Coalition.

On Friday, the Syrian government announced the restoration of this oil factory after several weeks of repair.
