A Palestinian militant killed three Israelis, opening fire at the entrance to one of the Jewish settlements of the West Bank, the border police said.
It is reported that, the Palestinian attempted to enter the settlement of Khar-Adar, located north-west of Jerusalem, but aroused suspicion from the guard, who ordered him to stop. “Realizing that he was discovered, he took out hidden under his shirt pistol and from a close distance began to shoot at guards and soldiers (border police). Ambulance evacuated four wounded, three of whom later died,” said in a press release.
The attacker was identified as a 37-year-old resident of the neighboring Arab village of Beit Surik, who, according to police, had permission to work at Israeli facilities.
