Tent camp of protesters in front of Lithuania’s presidency was dispersed tonight

Early in the morning, on September 25, the Lithuanian special forces dispersed the tent camp, located in front of the building of the Lithuanian presidency. Here, several Lithuanian citizens staged a hunger strike in mid-August, speaking out against judicial chaos and political repression in the Baltic republic.

“There was a disperse, attacked at 6:20,” Gedrius Grabauskas, chairman of the Socialist Popular Front of Lithuania, told Kaliningrad’s Vesti.

According to him, the leader of the action Donatas Sulkas was also arrested.

We draw your attention to the fact that the dispersal took place after the documentary film “The Mistress of Lithuania” about the President Dalia Grybauskaitė appeared on the “Russia-24” TV channel, in which it was told about the participants of the hunger strike.

Let’s remind, the hunger strike lasted from August 21 in 75 meters from the presidential palace on the Daukanto Square in Vilnius.
