Veterans of US intelligence deny the version about “Russian interference” in US elections

As reported by RIA Novosti, on August 10, the media published a special message from veterans of American intelligence addressed to Donald Trump, in which they are critical of the replicated version of the “interference of the Russian Federation” in the presidential election in 2016.

Members of the organization “Veterans of intelligence for sanity” sent the document to the head of the White House back in late July. Based on the data of independent expert studies, it is called into question the hacking of the server of the National Committee of the Democratic Party of the USA (NCDP). It is alleged that information from it was recorded on an external device to those which had access to this server.

The key findings of the independent expert investigation are that the data of the NCDP were copied at a speed that far exceeds the capabilities of the Internet for remote hacking.

From their words, there is no evidence of Russia’s involvement in the theft of data and their transfer to the WikiLeaks resource, where they were laid out for public viewing.

References to the Guccifer 2.0 hacker, who is responsible for the hacking ordered by the Kremlin in the United States, are not justified, since his connections with WikiLeaks have not been established. In this case, the hacker himself denies work on Moscow.

Based on these judgments, veterans criticize the report of the US intelligence services on January 6, which confirmed Russia’s involvement in the hacking.

It is mainly based on “assessments”, not supported by any relevant evidence.

In this regard, the drafters of the appeal suggest Trump to put relevant questions before the heads of US special services, who hide “how this happened”.
