USA: Russian mission prepares for closure following Trump order

The Head Office of the Russian Trade Representative, also known as Lothrop Mansion, in Washington DC was preparing for closure on Friday, after the administration of US President Donald Trump ordered its closure, as well as Russian diplomatic consulates and annexes in New York and San Francisco. The State Department announced that the Russian consulate in San Francisco and two annex buildings in Washington DC and New York must be closed by Saturday. The statement was issued in retaliation to Moscow’s decision to reduce US diplomatic staff in Russia following additional US sanctions.No Hope?
