Thousands of protesters descended upon Plaza de Mayo, in Buenos Aires, Friday, as part of a mass protest mobilised to pressure the government into releasing the whereabouts of missing human rights activist Santiago Maldonado.
SOT, Sergio Maldonado, brother of Santiago Maldonado (Spanish): “To the security minister, I ask you to step aside and leave the place to someone who is really qualified.”
SOT, Sergio Maldonado, brother of Santiago Maldonado (Spanish): “We want a serious and impartial investigation. We want to investigate all the personnel of the gendarmerie who acted in the operation on July 31 and August 1. They are responsible and have to account for their performance.”
