Michael Moore says Donald Trump will be re-elected in 2020

Documentary maker Michael Moore has been an increasingly vocal opponent to President Donald Trump, recently saying: “This guy’s going to get us all killed.”

Despite the doom-mongering, Moore believes Trump will retain office come 2020, telling Fast Company: “I should say re-appointed, because we will have an even larger population that will vote against him in 2020. But he will win those electoral states as it stands now.”

Moore believes that by generating momentum against Trump, the President can be stopped. Show’s such as his anti-Trump Broadway show, The Terms of My Surrender, which is currently three weeks into its run, can help the cause.

“Here’s the good news: We don’t have to convince a single Trump voter to vote differently because we already have the majority,” Moore added, referencing how Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by nearly 3 million.

Unfortunately, Clinton lost thanks to America’s electoral college system, 77,000 votes making the difference between a Democratic leadership and Republican. As Moore says, there’s little chance the voting system will change before 2020.
