Syria: Russia deliver tons of aid to Hasaka province

A Russian plane, containing aid, landed at Qamishli airport in Hasaka province on Monday, as part of ongoing humanitarian aid commitments to Syria.

The plane reportedly contained 3.5 tons (3175kg) of flour, 2.5 tons (2268kg) of rice and half a ton (454kg) of sugar, as well as 146 packages containing stationery.

Local charities and social service organisations are said to be managing the distribution of aid in Qamishli, to be assigned according to specific criteria.
