Ukraine: Criminal case was opened for map without Crimea and Donbass

Police of the Kiev region opened a criminal case on the fact of placing in Brovary before the city administration a map on which there is no Crimea and part of Donbass. This was announced on Wednesday by the head of the press service of the main department of the National Police of the region, Nikolai Zhukovich.

“We have removed the banner, it will be used further as material evidence in criminal proceedings, which we have already opened, this is Article 110 (” The encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine “- TASS commentary),” the UNN agency quotes him.

According to Zhukovic, the police are currently interviewing all those who were involved in setting up this banner.

On Wednesday, before the Brovarskiy City Council, a stage was set for the Independence Day of Ukraine with a map without the Crimea and the part of Donbass that was not under Kiev’s control. In connection with this incident, the head of the department of culture of the Brovary City Council Inna Savchenko was dismissed.
