Police of the Netherlands detained a young man last night on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act at a rock concert in Rotterdam. This was reported on Thursday by the Netherlands Broadcasting Corporation.
According to her, a 22-year-old man was arrested at home in a small town in the province of North Brabant.
On Wednesday in Rotterdam, by the decision of the Mayor of Ahmed Abutaleba, the concert of the American rock group Allah-Las was canceled. As explained by the mayor, the decision was made after receiving information from the Spanish police about the possible preparation of the terrorist attack.
The Allah-Las group from Los Angeles (California), based in the European tour, was formed ten years ago. Then its participants added the word “Allah” to the name of the collective, so that the name “sounded sacred”. However, many Muslims around the world have reacted negatively to this idea: the musicians received disapproval reviews and even threats.
