Journalists detained in Kosovo again

In the Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija, near the village of Gnilane, the police of the self-proclaimed “Republic of Kosovo” detained three people, employees of Russian-speaking media out of the Baltic States.

The detainees are Rodion Denisov with his wife Vera, citizens of Estonia, and Yuri Alekseev from Latvia.

Local TV “Pulse” informs about the detention. The reasons for the detention are still unknown.

A few days before that, journalists had filmed Orthodox churches and monasteries, communicated with the chairman of this Serbian municipality, Dragan Nikolic.

Not long before, a Russian journalist was not allowed to go to Kosovo, despite the fact that he had all the documents necessary for crossing the administrative border, including the Schengen visa.
