Clashes as ‘America First’ rally outnumbered by counter-protest in Laguna Beach

 

 

An ‘America First’ rally in Laguna Beach, California, was met by hundreds of counter-protesters which saw the anti-illegal immigration group dwarfed in terms of numbers, Sunday. Scuffles broke out between the between the rival rallies, reminiscent of the violence that broke out in Charlottesville last weekend. 100 police officers attended the scene in order to avoid tensions spilling over. Three people were arrested according to officers. This was the fifth ‘America First’ gathering in Laguna Beach and all previous meeting were peaceful said the event’s organiser, ‘Alt-Right’ activist Johnny Benitez.
