Missile technology could be sold to representatives of the DPRK

The missile technologies of the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau could be handed over to representatives of North Korea.

On condition of anonymity, one of the employees said that North Korea showed interest in Ukrainian rocket engines. According to him, a few years ago, the North Koreans tried to steal the relevant documentation from the company, but they were detained.

He suggested that the documentation on rocket engines could fall into the hands of North Koreans who could find an “unofficial approach” to the Ukrainian side.

The New York Times, citing a new report from the International Institute for Strategic Studies and intelligence services, said today that North Korea managed to reach an agreement with the leadership of the Ukrainian “Yuzhmash”. Namely there rockets and engines were assembled. The management of “Yuzhmash” has gone to such cooperation, having lost its Russian partners after the coup in Ukraine in 2014.
