Over 80 civilians killed, wounded in US-led coalitions’ ground, air attacks

The US fighter jets and artillery units of the Washington-backed Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) targeted badly several neighborhoods in ISIS-held Raqqa city, killing and injuring over eighty civilians, news websites affiliated to the militant groups reported on Tuesday.

The websites reported the US warplanes and SDF’s artillery units attacked Raqqa’s neighborhoods, killing 23 civilians and wounding over 60.

The websites added that the number of casualties is on rise due to the critical condition of some of the injured.

Relevant reports said on Monday that the US-led coalition fighter jets bombed residential areas in the Northeastern city of Raqqa, killing and wounding over 15 civilians.

Ten civilians were killed and five more were injured in a US air attack on residential neighborhoods of the ISIS-held city of Raqqa.
