The 1st group disabled miner from the Krasnoarmeysky district of Donetsk (territory controlled by Kiev) received today a cash aid amounting to 4,000 UAH as part of the humanitarian program for the reunification of the Donbass people. This payment was the first since the beginning of the issue.
According to the Ministry of Labor, the miner appealed for help in the DPR personally. He worked in the mine until 1997, when he was injured in the production, after which he was chained to a wheelchair. After registration of documents the former miner received a cash payment in the amount of 4,000 UAH.
“Thanks for your help and support. It is very important for people like me to know that we are not indifferent and care about us. We became hostages to a difficult political situation, found ourselves on different sides of the line of delimitation, but your actions and actions give us hope for an early reunification. The humanitarian program is a helping hand to those who live in the territory under Ukraine’s control, “the addressee says in the ministry.
We add that before the Miner’s Day in the Republic for the purpose of implementing the humanitarian program, the Decree of the Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko provides for the payment of a one-time cash aid to certain categories of workers in the coal industry and individuals who have special labor merits before the Motherland. Payments can get miners from the DPP and Kiev-controlled part of the Donetsk region.
