At least 30 terrorists murdered by accidental suicide vest blast in Afghanistan

A group of at least 30 members of the Taliban terror group, outlawed in Russia, were killed as a result of an accidental explosion of suicide vests in western Afghanistan, local media reported on Friday.

The incident took place on Thursday when two suicide vests and other explosives detonated at a Taliban gathering in the Bala Bolok district of the western Afghan province of Farah, the TOLOnews broadcaster reported, citing the province’s governor Naser Mehri.

The terrorists were reportedly preparing attacks against government forces during the meeting.

The explosion reportedly killed several local Taliban commanders. The group has not commented on the reports yet.

Afghanistan has been experiencing significant political and social instability for decades, as terrorist organizations, including Daesh (outlawed in Russia) and the Taliban movement, continue to stage attacks against civilian and military targets.
