Geneva condemns Turkey’s attacks on Rojava

In the Swiss city Geneva Kurdish citizens condemned the bombardments of the Turkish state against the Efrîn Canton and Rojava.

People from Kurdistan gathered for a demonstration following the call of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in front of the United Nations headquarter in protest at the attacks of the Turkish state against the Rojava cantons.

In the speeches held in the name of the Democratic Kurdish Society Center (NCDK) and the PYD the attention was drawn to the fact that the Turkish state’s attacks on Efrîn aimed to create a chaos in the Middle East.

The statements said that the freedom of the Kurdish people is dependent on the protection of Leader Apo and the achievements of Rojava. During the protest demo, which came after the speeches with chants of slogans to an end, the flags of the PYD and Women’s Defense Units (YPJ) were raised.
