Kosovo: Six Russians, five Serbs detained by police

An employee of the Russian embassy’s office in Pristina left for the detention of Russian citizens in the Serbian Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, the Russian embassy in Serbia said, commenting on the incident. The embassy is doing everything necessary to comply with the procedural rules for Russian citizens who are accused by the authorities in Pristina of illegally crossing the administrative line with Kosovo.

A total of six Russian citizens were detained, two of which are local residents, family members of Serbian citizens.

At the moment, the case is being investigated with the active participation of representatives of the embassy, which is in direct contact with Russian citizens. News Front is following the events.

Recall, the day before not far from the administrative line with Central Serbia in Kosovo and Metohija, several Russians had been detained. The authorities of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo accuse them of illegally crossing their borders.
