Historian, political scientist, writer, director of the Center for Eurasian Studies Vladimir Kornilov agreed to comment on the decision of Carla Del Ponte’s resignation.
“Well, Carla Del Ponte is known for her involvement in the unjust and one-sided pursuit of the Yugoslav leaders. After completing her career in the Balkans, she wrote a fairly frank book, in which she openly admitted that only one party was prosecuted in Yugoslavia, when the war crimes of the other side were ignored. Now she admits the same thing. And it’s good that it is recognized on time, not after the war, but during it,” Kornilov stressed.
