Protesters gathered outside the home of Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit in Petah Tikva, Saturday, calling for the indictment of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
SOT, Sigalit Kesler, Protester and lawyer (English): “This is a civil protest. This week is the 35th week that we get to here to protest against the political corruption in Israel, a political corruption that is deep-rooted, the political corruption that is not treated by the force of law and it is ongoing and vetoing the very existence of our society.”
SOT, Efi Avishaul, Protester (English): “I am one of the protesters here against of the general authority of the government. To make an investigation on all the cases that Bibi, Netanyahu, the prime minister, is a suspect of being almost a criminal. All of us here want to have a better state and clean from corruption. And this is our main cause here – to clean the government, the parliament from corruption.”
