The Syrian state news agency reported that hundreds of families that had fled their homes for fear of terrorists’ threats have returned to the villages and towns of Souran, Taybat al-Imam, Ma’ardes, Kawkab and Ma’aden in Northern Homs.
The agency said that the engineering units have defused bombs and landmines planted by the terrorist groups in the region.
Reports said on Tuesday that the army troops continued to hit ISIS’s movements and concentration centers hard in Eastern Hama, killing and wounding tens of terrorists.
The army’s artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at ISIS’s movements along the oil pipeline Southeast of the town of Aqarib, the villages of Abu Hanaya, Arshouneh and al-Hardaneh, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.
In the meantime, the Syrian Air Force carried out repeated combat sorties and targeted ISIS’s gathering centers and movements in the villages of Hamadeh Omar, Abu Hanaya and Qanbar in Eastern Hama, leaving tens of terrorists dead or wounded and their military equipment destroyed.
