Ukrainian energy sector emergency measures have been lifted for two days but could be restored in October if coal delivery schedules are disrupted, Ukrenergo power company’s Acting Director Vsevolod Kovalchuk said Tuesday.
“The emergency measures in the energy sector are over. The monthly period that began earlier had ended on July 16,” Kovalchuk told reporters.
He added: “If the coal supply schedules are disrupted, this issue may become relevant at the level of October, but for now it is too early to talk about this.”
