The officers of the Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria delivered 1.5 tonnes of food sets to the civilians of Umm Jameh settlement in the province of Homs, which is located near the line of fight with the militants, centre’s officer Andrei Durandin said.
“Recently, the residents of the Homs province’s district of Umm Haratayn, where Umm Jameh is a key settlement, signed a ceasefire agreement. We delivered 1.5 tonnes of food to those in need, primarily to the poor families and to the widows of the Syrian servicemen, who were killed in the defense of Syria,” Durandin told reporters.
