On Friday, July 14, a checkpoint was attacked in Egypt, five Egyptian policemen were killed.
A group of armed masked men attacked the checkpoint, located 20 kilometers from Egypt’s capital, Cairo, near the city of El Badrashein. Three militants reportedly opened fire on police officers, throwing Molotov cocktails, then disappeared on motorcycles.
While none of the radical groups took responsibility for the attack. However, according to the police, earlier such attacks in Egypt were committed by the militants of the radical movement Khasm, which the Egyptian security organs associate with the Muslim Brotherhood, banned in the country.
