At least four people were killed and seven injured in a car bomb attack in a city near Aleppo, Syria on Thursday (13 July).
The car bomb exploded near a school in Azaz city, said Haytham Jaber, the Syrian civil defense official, according to Anadolu Agency. The death toll might rise as the injured are said to be in critical condition. Azaz is located about 32km or 20 miles northwest of Aleppo.
Vehicles near the site caught fire and buildings were also damaged due to the impact of the blast.
Peace talks in Geneva and Kazakhstan capital Astana have failed to end the conflict in Syria. Over 5,381 civilians have been killed in the first six months of 2017 alone.
