United States Congress: issue of Trump’ Impeachment

Brad Sherman, member of the United States House of Representatives, Democrat from California introduced the act of impeachment of President Donald Trump to the House of Representatives of the US Congress.

Congressmen Democrats Brad Sherman and Al Greene accuse Trump of obstructing justice in the investigation of possible Russian interference in US elections in 2016.

“I am making an impeachment act to start a long process in order to protect our country from abuse of authority, obstruction of justice, as well as from impulsive and ignorant incompetence,” Sherman said.

According to Sherman, “Trump “had something to hide” given how the president tried to close the investigation into the national security adviser Michael Flynn and a larger investigation that concerns Russia.”

Flynn was fired after informing the management about his communication in the US with Sergei Kislyak, the Russian ambassador.

Experts note that the initiative of Congressman Sherman is unlikely to be supported in the House of Representatives controlled by the republican majority, but will still be registered as an official accusation against Trump.
