Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine during the Ukraine-EU summit in Kiev expressed his hope to hold the next summits in Donetsk and Yalta.
“I hope that someday we will hold the next Ukraine-EU summits in Donetsk and in Yalta,” quotes UNN news agency.
Currently, the 19th Ukraine-EU summit is taking place in Kiev with the participation of the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the Presidents of the European Council Donald Tusk and the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.
Also, the media reported that the summit will end without endorsement of the final statement.
Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014, at which the majority of the peninsula’s residents voted for reunification with Russia.
