AFU committed 36 ceasefire violations over past 24 hours

The Armed Forces of Ukraine committed 36 ceasefire violations over the past 24 hours.

The enemy launched 4 tank-shells, 42 mortar-shells of 120mm caliber and 30 mortar-shells of 82mm caliber on 12 localities and nearby districts in the Donetsk direction.

In the Gorlovka direction, the enemy launched 23 mortar-shells of 82mm caliber on the areas of two localities in the Gorlovka direction. Besides, Ukrainian punishers applied grenade launchers and small arms.

In the Mariupol direction, the enemy shelled four localities and nearby districts, launching five tank-shells and thirteen mortar-shells of 82mm caliber.

AFU units’ servicemen have begun refusing to be sent to the so-called “ATO” zone more frequently. Thus, fourteen soldiers and sergeants openly refused to participate in the civil war against Donbass residents and venturing their lives, to defend interests of oligarchs in the 1st separate tank brigade (Chernigov Region).

Due to the fact that these cases take place more frequently, the AFU units’ commanders prefer to retire them with retrospective effect.

It should be noted that the overwhelming majority of Ukrainian soldiers with whom contracts were forcedly concluded consider themselves to be the deceived and do not want to keep serving. AFU General Staff is concerned about this fact.

Our intelligence keeps registering facts of “ATO Headquarters” Command’s indifference towards its subordinate military personnel and violations of Ukrainian soldiers’ rights. Besides, a low level of subsistence support is detected. Due to this, units’ commanders have to directly ask volunteers and public organizations for help. At their request, representatives of five delegations of international and Ukrainian charity funds and public movements arrived in the so-called “ATO” zone.
