The police inspected the territory, interviewed the eyewitnesses and the victim. According to the foreigner, he was resting in one of the cafes where a conflict arose with another visitor. He was hit in the face and fell on the asphalt which caused severe injures.
As a result of investigative and operational actions, the identity of the offender was established. He was also a native of another state, who now lives in Kiev. He was informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Art. 128 (“Careless grave or moderate bodily harm”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for the restriction of freedom for up to two years.
