After the decision of the The Hague Arbitration Court, dispute over the Piran Bay between the members of the European Union Slovenia and Croatia haven’t ceased but broke out with renewed vigor.
Recall, according to a recent judicial decision, Slovenia gained access to international waters in this part of the Andriatic Sea. The possession was disputed by Croatia.
After the verdict, the two post-Yugoslav countries exchanged diplomatic notes. Although if not all of its claims were enforced, Slovenia calls for the execution of a judicial decision. Croatia, in turn, warned its neighbors about the inadmissibility of violation of its state border.
The Prime Ministers of Slovenia, Croatia, intend to discuss the situation during a personal meeting in Ljubljana.
