US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe in a telephone conversation confirmed the course on the close cooperation between the countries to increase pressure on the DPRK. This is reported by RIA News with reference to Koichi Hagiuidou, the Deputy General Secretary of the Japanese Cabinet of Ministers.
It is also noted that the leaders of the countries agreed to use the forthcoming G20 summit to continue pressure on North Korea.
Earlier it became known that Trump intends to hold telephone talks with Abe and the head of China Xi Jinping.
