Meeting between Mogherini with Serbian, Kosovo presidents begins in Brussels

EU foreign policy and security chief Federica Mogherini’s meeting with Serbian and Kosovo Presidents Aleksandar Vucic and Hasim Taci began in the European External Action Service building in Brussels at 10.45 am Monday.

According to a press release issued by Mogherini’s Office, they agreed to work on starting a new phase of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina for normalisation of relations and reconciliation, and they decided that the respective teams will start working on preparations. They also stressed the importance of the implementation of the agreements reached in the dialogue without delay. The High Representative confirmed the commitment of the EU for the European perspective of the whole Western Balkans.

The meeting was preceded by Mogherini’s bilateral meetings with Taci and Vucic.
