Donetsk, DNR. Yesterday we reported the visit of the French elected representatives to Donbass. Earlier today, they signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two nations, opening up further cultural and bettering international relations.
While the French President Macron welcomed his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko to Paris, Donetsk welcomed the first french representation of the donetsk people’s Republic.
A Memorandum of understanding was signed between Hubert Fayard and Mrs Nikorovona the foreign minister of the Republic. The fact this was delivered and sealed on the birthday of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic-Alexander Zakharchenko, was seen as a good omen for the two nations.
The French delegation is expected to view war damage, social services and meet officials during their visit.
