But one Alexei Navalny is a man without a future as Russia’s courts find that due to his extensive criminal history, he will not run for President next year.
Professional American stooge and wannabe Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, has been formally barred from standing in next year’s presidential election.
The Russian Federation Central Electoral Commission has ruled Navalny may not stand because he was found guilty of embezzlement and given a suspended sentence, but that did nothing for him having a criminal history nevertheless.
Navalny has said the case against him was politically motivated. The anti-corruption campaigner led street protests against Vladimir Putin in the winter of 2011-12.
Mr Putin, who has not been convicted of any crime in Russia is eligible to stand again for president next year, it will be his fourth term in office, though he has not yet announced his decision.
Navalny was sentenced this month to 30 days’ administrative arrest for repeatedly violating Russia’s law on staging rallies. Navalny goes out of his way looking for trouble with the Putin administration and many see this as karma or real justice in blocking his candidacy nationally.
