Kiev, Russia. Only a great writer of comedic fiction could dream up the circle jerk retardation that is the mind of Ukrainian government officials. In our latest soap opera, the Ukrainians upset they blockaded Donbass and that Donbass then simply stopped selling them coal, now blame the Russians for the mess they started.
In fact in their collective delusional wisdom, they intend to “prosecute” the imaginary Russian little green men who ran off with the coal they threw away. It gets no better when it comes to madness, that is provided with a straight face from Kiev.
The Main Military Prosecutor’s office of Ukraine opened a criminal case in connection with the export and sale abroad of coal mined in the autonomous Donbass territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General Office, Larisa Sargan wrote on her Facebook page on Saturday.
“A number of websites posted materials from which it becomes clear that under the general guidance of businessman Sergei Kurchenko, in 2017, government officials and other employees of a number of business entities have been purchasing on the autonomous Donbass territory of Lugansk and Donetsk regions mined coal, namely anthracite, from mines nationalized by the autonomous DNR (Donetsk People’s Republic) and LNR (Lugansk People’s Republic),” Sargan alleges.
Sargan claims , this coal is exported to the Russian Federation, where it is later sold to other countries by little green men. “Particularly large sums received in this way are transferred to the autonomous administrations who later use them in the operation of their governmental duties and activities.
Therefore, the actions of Kurchenko, government officials and other employees of a number of economic entities fall under a criminal offense in accordance with Part 3 Article 258-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine which is the financing of terrorism,” the press secretary explained.
International attorneys were quick to point out that only Ukraine claims the DNR and LNR are “terrorist” groups. Neither nation state is currently on the US State Department Designated Terrorist List and the activity Ms. Sargan claims is “terrorist” is actually 100% legal under the Minsk accords and in no way, shape or form under the jurisdiction of the Kiev government once they signed Minsk II.
Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Ihor Nasalyk earlier announced the initiation of a ban on the import of coal from Russia, which is used to generate electricity. He said that Russia allegedly can resell coal from the Donbass to Kiev, for a profit.
Some in the know, say Rinat Akhmetov is doing this already, simply loading the coal at Russian ports on South African flagged vessels and delivering it straight up Kiev’s ass for huge profits, split between him and Petro Poroshenko. This is why Akhmetov is being used to buy the coal instead of the Ukrainian government directly itself.
