At least three people were reportedly killed and 11 more injured in Bogota, Saturday, after an explosion rocked a shopping centre in the Colombian capital’s Zona Rosa neighbourhood.
According to reports, an explosion went off inside women’s bathroom located on the second floor of the mall.
Bogota’s Mayor Enrique Penalosa described the incident on Twitter as a “cowardly terrorist attack” and appointed Chief of the National Police General Jorge Nieto to lead an investigation into the blast.
