The death toll of a fire in a block of flats in London’s North Kensington has increased to 30, Metropolitan Police said Friday.
The previous death toll stood at 17.
“Cmdr Cundy confirms #GrenfellTower fire fatalities now 30, sadly figure may rise. 24 people are in hospital, 12 receiving critical care,” the police said in a tweet.
