London Trafalgar square cleared in ISIS scare

LONDON, United Kingdom. Visitors to Trafalgar Square, one of the central tourist points in London, were evacuated because of a suspicious object, the metropolitan police said.

In addition, the nearest metro station Charing-Koss has been evacuated. The media reported that armed anti-terrorist police officers have been deployed to the incident area.

Later, the police reported that the incident was not connected with terrorism, and no one was hurt.

“The officers are present at the scene, the cordons are on display, the station Charing Cross was closed down as a preventive measure,” the police spokesman said.
