Detachments of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), along with the Kurdish formations of the YPG, have made significant progress in clearing the territories in the vicinity of the Raqqa.
The Kurdish soldiers repulsed the Al-Hurriya dam from the Islamic state militants, as well as the Hunaida settlement south-west of Raqqa. At the moment, a special operation on seizing the area surrounding the dam continues.
Also, SDF fighters almost completely occupied the city of Al-Mansur. They found a large number of mortar shells and ammunition of the IS fighters in the liberated city.
