London, United Kingdom. A British top secret report is making people in the upper crust of England’s elite, as those who have profited handsomely off of selling arms from the UK, have actually been in bed with state sponsors of the terrorists destroying the tranquility of merry old England.
A long-delayed inquiry into foreign funding and support of jihadi groups in the UK, is being held from release over the conclusions that it reveals Saudi Arabia is financially behind the attacks in the United Kingdom. The Home Office has since suggested the investigation may not be published.
Eighteen months on, the Home Office said the report originally due to be published in the spring of 2016, had not yet been completed, and said publication was not guaranteed, given the sensitive nature of the content.
An investigative inquiry into revenue streams for extremist groups operating in the UK was commissioned by former prime minister David Cameron and is thought to focus on Saudi Arabia.
Britain’s Labour leader used a speech in Carlisle on Sunday evening to challenge the prime minister over the delayed report. Jeremy Corbyn referenced May’s own speech after Saturday’s London Bridge attack, where she had said challenging terrorism would “require some difficult, and often embarrassing, conversations”.
Corbyn went straight for May’s throat verbally, “Yes we do need to have some difficult conversations, starting with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states that have funded and fuelled extremist ideology. It is no good Theresa May suppressing a report into the foreign funding of extremist groups. We have to get serious about cutting off the funding to these terror networks, including Isis here and in the Middle East.”
Corbyn was not alone. “Theresa May now has a choice. Does she publish that report or keep it hidden? Theresa May talks of the need to have some difficult and sometimes embarrassing conversations. That should include exposing and rooting out the source funding of terror, even it means difficult and embarrassing conversations with those like Saudi Arabia that the government claims are our allies.” Liberal Democratic leader Tim Farron offered on the matter.
Ex-PM David Cameron ordered the investigation as part of a deal with the Liberal Democrats in exchange for the party supporting the extension of British airstrikes against Islamic State into Syria in December 2015.
