It became known that the offensive of the militants failed, the Syrian army managed to repel an attack of Islamists in the area of Al-Manshiyah, Daraa province. Defending the positions, the soldiers of the Assad’s army managed to eliminate several radicals, as well as to injure a large number of attackers, including field commanders of militants. It is reported that one of the commanders – Abu Islam Dael – was killed during fierce battles.
The Free Syrian Army does not cease to launch an offensive in the region, despite the ceasefire regime operating in the provincial capital and its suburbs.
