Beijing, China. As escalations become many in the Korean nuclear missile standoff provoked by President Donald Trump, but one stakeholder is not taking any chances as they rush troops to the North Korean-Chinese border region.
China has deployed an additional military force of 100,000 troops to the North Korean border. The growing tensions on the Korean Peninsula have led Chinese armed forces to raise their levels of preparedness, reported the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri, citing sources in China.
According to the reports, such enhanced precautions have been in effect since mid-April, when Chinese leader Xi Jinping ordered the forces to the border after witnessing first hand the instability of Trump mentally during a state visit. China has a number of agreements to defend North Korea from aggression in the event of an unprovoked attack by outside forces.
A US Navy strike group led by the USS Carl Vinson is currently active in the waters adjacent to the Korean Peninsula. The US warships are conducting “exercises” together with Japanese missile destroyers that could provoke a nuclear conflict at any moment.
It is assumed that the strike group will pass through the Korea Strait past Tsushima Island and move to the Sea of Japan. In this area, as reported by the newspaper Yomiuri, the united forces will continue their exercises. And exercises are planned with the South Korean Navy as well.
The conducting of major military maneuvers in the Sea of Japan with the participation of a US carrier group is virtually unprecedented, highlighting the level of provocation the so-called “exercises” really are by American forces.
