NATO reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Kaliningrad region

 

Strategic reconnaissance aircrafts of the US Air Force and Great Britain flew to Russia’s maritime borders in the southern Baltic near the Kaliningrad region. This is reported by “Interfax” referring to the data of Western sites monitoring the movement of military aircraft.

 

 

On Thursday morning, the reconnaissance aircraft RC-135W of the British Royal Air Force flight off the coast of the Kaliningrad Region, which departed from the airbase of Waddington in the UK.

 

The airplane was in the airspace above the exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation in the Baltic Sea, but did not violate the maritime state border.

 

After noon, RC-135W was replaced by the US Air Force RC-135U aircraft with the onboard number 64-14847, which flew to the Baltics from the Mildenhall airbase in the UK.
