A large explosion hit the Turkish city of Diyarbakir on Tuesday.
The incident took place near the riot police headquarters in a building where some vehicles were repaired. According to multiple media reports, from two to four persons were inrjured as a result of the attack.
“An explosion occurred in Diyarbakır inside the riot police building there where vehicles are repaired… One person is under rubble and AFAD [the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority] says he is alive. One person was heavily wounded and there were also people who suffered slight injuries,” the Turkish media outlet “hurriyetdailynews” quoted Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu as saying.
No group has taken responsibility for the attack so far.
