A group of British servicemen, which will enter the multinational NATO battalion, arrived in Estonia. An airplane with 130 troops aboard landed at the Emary airfield near Tallinn, where they were met by the Minister of Defense of the Baltic Republic.
The decision to place multinational battalions on the territory of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland was adopted at the NATO summit in Warsaw in 2016. It is assumed that the full deployment of the NATO battalion in the country will be completed in May this year.
