Mini version of Brandenburg Gate lit up with Russian colors in Hamburg

A mini version of the Brandenburg Gate was installed at Hamburg’s Town Hall on the evening of April 4 and litted it up in the colors of the national flag of Russia.

This was done by local activists from the art group Lamaboy & Atelier 21 in solidarity with the sorrow of the Russians and the grief of those who lost relatives in the terrorist attack on April 3 in St. Petersburg metro. According to the organizers of the action, it was a response to the refusal of the Berlin authorities to change the illumination of the Brandenburg Gate after the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg.
