Today Serbia is holding parliamentary elections. Citizens of the country have to choose from 11 candidates, among which, according to polls, the current prime minister of the country, Alexander Vučić leads.
The Serbian political scientist Alexander Pavic spoke about the elections in the “Front Line” weekly wrap of the international news agency News Front.
“One candidate is ahead of everyone else in popularity, this is Alexander Vučić,” Pavic confirmed, adding that he was accepted in the Kremlin and talked with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “
The political analyst did not forecast the probability of a second round of elections, although he recalled that some opposition forces had already announced their intention not to recognize the results of the first round, whatever they are.
Currently, the elections are calm. This also applies to the disputed province of Kosovo and Metohija, where the OSCE conducts voting for the Serbs.
