A monument to the Poles, killed by SS men from the Galichina division in 1944, was desecrated in the Lvov region, reported the “Ukrainian News” agency. The incident occurred on March 13.
According to the representative of the State Administration of the National Police in the Lviv region, the monument was doused with red and black paint, painted with red and black flags and swastikas, and also contained “Death to the Poles” words.
Currently, the question of opening a criminal proceeding is being resolved, and an investigation is under way.
