Head of Bulgarian socialists promised to lift Russian sanctions if elected

 

The head of the Bulgarian Socialist Party Cornelia Ninova stated that if her party would win in the parliamentary elections, Bulgaria would block the extension of the EU sanctions against Russia.

The voting is scheduled on March 26. According to sociologists, the main rivals will be the “GERB” and BSP parties.

 

“If the BSP will win the elections, and I will be the prime minister, then I will go to Brussels and say “Gentlemen, when there will be next vote on anti-Russian sanctions, Bulgaria will veto it”, the report says.
